Efstathios "Steve" Papadopoulos Obituary

Efstathios (Steve) Papadopoulos, 93, husband of late Hellen Papadopoulos of Norwalk, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2024 in his sleep at his Grandson’s home in Georgia.


Born October 31, 1931, in Spilia, Greece, he was the son of late Georgios and Parthena Papadopoulos.


Mr. Papadopoulos was a heavy equipment mechanic for Campbell’s and Pepperidge Farm for the majority of his life in the U.S. In his spare time he was an active volunteer at Saint George Greek Orthodox Church and the Greek Community.


He is survived by his 2 sons: John and his wife Kathy of Norwalk and Panagiotis of Norwalk; 1 Grandson Georgios Efstathios Papadopoulos and his wife Brittany of Richmond Hill, GA; 1 Great Grandson Efstathios Georgios Papadopoulos of Richmond Hill, GA.


Services will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 10:00 AM, at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 238 West Rocks Road, Norwalk. Friends may visit with the family in the church from 9 until the service. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, 81 Riverside Avenue, Norwalk.
