Samuel Curci Jr., 93, husband of the late Madeline Beal Curci of Westport CT passed away on November 16th surrounded by family at Fairfield House Hospice, Stamford, CT. after a brief illness. Born June 22, 1931, in Norwalk, CT, he was one of 8 children born to the late Saverio and Antonette Curci. Sam was an antique dealer well-known in the area for many years, owning RT 7 Antiques in Ridgefield, CT and Log Cabin Antiques in Hillsdale, New York. His vibrant personality was apparent with anyone that knew him, always joking and having a positive outlook all the way to the end of his life. He enjoyed nature and especially touring through New York state through the years. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Mr. Curci attended Norwalk High school and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Sam had the honor of escorting then President Dwight D. Eisenhower from his inauguration to the White house. He is survived by his children Deborah Mollica (John) of Shelton, Sam Curci 3rd (Janet) of Longmont Colorado, Anna Carroll (Mark) of Fairfield, Nick Curci (Karin) of Westport; 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Frank Curci of Norwalk. Special Thanks to The Whittingham Cancer Center, Dr. Heather Sung and the wonderful warm and caring staff at Fairfield House Hospice.
