Peter Holmes, age 75, of Norwalk, husband to Patricia (Sirico) Holmes, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at his home.

He was born on January 18, 1949, in Norwalk, Connecticut to the late Ralph W. and Ann (Soltes) Holmes. A life-long Norwalk resident, he graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1967. After high school, he attended Sacred Heart University, spent time working with the Norwalk Police Department, was the right-hand man to his father Ralph, and opened his own security business. He had a passion for older tv shows, Abbott and Costello, the Beach Boys, and ghost hunting.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years Patricia (Sirico) Holmes; his children Kimberly (Holmes) Smith and her husband Bill Smith of Redding, CT and Sean Holmes and his partner Eric Smith of Brooklyn, NY. Lastly, he is survived by his two grandchildren William and Emma Smith, who will keep his memory alive for years to come.

Friends may call, Thursday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Collins Funeral Homes, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00AM at St. Jerome Church, 23 Half Mile Road, Norwalk. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, 81 Riverside Avenue, Norwalk.
