Donna M. Dunbar, age 67, passed away peacefully July 5, 2024 at Norwalk Hospital. She was born November 15, 1956 in New York, New York to Charles Lambert, Sr. and Ella Clarett Lambert. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration at Adelphi University. For many years Donna worked at New York Life Insurance Company. Her life was a living example of compassion and dedication to family. Donna was the beloved wife of Lawrence “Larry” Dunbar, cherished mother of Steve Miller, Jevon Ackles and Taron Ackles, adored grandchildren; Krista Roy, Chanayra Lanier, Dyasia Roy-Austin, Dejana Miller and Sean Roy-Austin, four great grandchildren; Joell, Mei’ Luan, Jai’ Luan and Noah, her brother; Stephen Lambert, two devoted sister in laws; Mary C. Cropper and Barbara Dunbar and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. In addition to her father Charles Lambert, Sr., she was predeceased by two brothers; Kenneth Lambert and Charles Lambert, Jr. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am, followed by a service of celebration at 11:00 am at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 68 Van Zant St., Norwalk, CT. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Norwalk.
