Joseph S. Berte of Norwalk passed away peacefully on December 5, 2023, at the age of 85. He was born on September 15, 1938, in Philadelphia, PA to the late John and Pauline (Whitney) Berte. After graduating from Norwalk High School in 1956, he joined the United States Navy.
He worked much of his career as a Parts Associate for a few businesses in Norwalk and Stamford. He enjoyed dancing, singing, and spending time at Calf Pasture Beach with friends and family.
He is survived by his daughters Kimberly, Dena and his son Peter and five grandchildren.
Services will be held privately with family members only.
