Nancy Myers Murphy Byxbee, went to her eternal rest on March 18, 2023. Widow of Robert Earl Byxbee, mother to Robert Edward, Susan Jane, grandmother to Roberto Vicente Solis-Byxbee, Laura Genevieve Matthew. Nancy was born in Cambridge, MA on May 24,1928 to Mary Myers Alexander Murphy and Frederick Parks Murphy. The family moved to Norwalk in the early 1940s. Nancy graduated from Norwalk High School, Berkely school of business in NYC and attended William and Mary University. Nancy worked as office manager for Crystal Ice Company, her father's business for the majority of her career. A memorial service is scheduled at 11 am for Saturday, April 1, 2023 at First Congregational Church on the Green, 3 Lewis St., Norwalk, CT, the Reverend Tamara Moreland, Senior Pastor, officiating.
