On Wednesday, March 1, 2023, Ann Patricia Brennan Cascella, loving Mother, grandmother, life partner and friend passed away at the age of 90. Ann was born on October 13, 1932, in Norwalk Connecticut to Patrick Brennan and Margorie Porterfield Tooker. Ann graduated from Norwalk High School in 1950. After graduation, Ann pursued an advanced degree at the Katherine Gibbs School. Ann was an executive secretary at the Hat Corporation in Norwalk Connecticut. On December 27th, 1970, Ann married Richard Cascella Sr, soon after Ann married, she started her family and had three children, Richard, Scott, and Stacey. Ann was a passionate reader; she always had some reading material close by. Ann loved volunteering at the Turnover Consignment shop in Wilton. She authentically enjoyed socializing with her friends and the comradery that they all shared. Ann was a lover of Dachshunds. All throughout Ann’s life she had a Dachshund, she loved them and took care of them like they were family. Ann fancied going to the casino, she never met a slot machine she didn’t like. Ann was predeceased by her parents Patrick Brennan and Margorie Porterfield Tooker, her, sister Sandra Brennan, and son Richard Cascella Jr. Ann leaves behind her life partner, Richard Cascella, her Son, Scott Cascella, Daughter & Son in law, Stacey, and Peter Georgiou, three Grandchildren Carly Cascella, Ethan Cascella, and Abby Cascella as well as many nieces, nephews, and many dear friends. Calling Hours will be held on Sunday March 5th, 2023 at Collins funeral home in Norwalk, CT from 2pm-4pm. A private interment burial will be held on a later date.
