Obituary of EveAnn Gonch Fitzgerald

EveAnn Gonch Fitzgerald December 5, 1933 - August 22, 2022 EveAnn Gonch Fitzgerald, age 88, passed at home on August 22, 2022. She was born December 5, 1933 in Norwalk, CT, the daughter of the late William and Helen Janci Gonch. She was a Norwalk native and a resident of Weston for 40 years before moving to Branford where she lived for the last 20 years. EveAnn was a graduate of Heidelberg College in Tiffin, Ohio and taught first grade at Roosevelt and Honey Hill schools in Norwalk. She was also a realtor at Gormley Real Estate. She loved her volunteer work as a reading tutor for Literacy Volunteers of America, and Meals on Wheels in Weston and Branford. EveAnn was predeceased by her husband Raymond W. Fitzgerald and her daughter Barbara Ann Jordan. She is survived by her daughter Maureen Jordan (Adora Gabriel) of Branford, CT; her son, David Jordan of Medellin, Colombia and her grandchildren, William Jordan and Lilly Jordan of Richmond, VA. A burial service will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Norwalk, CT on September 2, 2022 at 12:00 PM.
