Obituary for Caroline G Bookhardt Caroline G. Bookhardt, age 68, passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2022 along with her cherished husband Johnny Lee Bookhardt. She was born on November 22, 1953 in Norwalk, Connecticut to Pearl Lewis Greene of Norwalk, CT. and the late Leon Greene. Caroline attended Strayer University and retired from Maritime Motors after many years of service. She was the consummate wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister and friend, always providing support, encouragement and wisdom. Caroline was involved in numerous ministries at Grace Baptist Church including, the Deaconess, Missionary, Seniors Ministries and the Nurses Unit. Her memory will be treasured by her daughter; Tradonna Mallard (Alfredo), her son; Johnny L. Bookhardt, Jr. (Darya), six adored grandchildren; Imani Mallard, India Mallard, Ayden Bookhardt, Aspen Bookhardt, Addison Bookhardt and Davante Mallard, her beloved mother; Pearl Lewis Greene, one sister; Delores Smith, two aunts; Louise Hunter and Gracie Thompson, three godchildren; Apryl Langlois, Tremaine Gilmore and Saipin and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Caroline was also predeceased by her sister Patricia Greene – Kessler. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 6, 2022 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am followed by a service of celebration at 11:00 am at Grace Baptist Church, 17 West Ave., Norwalk, CT. with Rev. Dr. Lindsay E. Curtis officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Norwalk.
