Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Carol D. Preslar, of Norwalk, CT, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on May 23rd, 2022 at the age of 79 years.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Wesley (Maria), Daniel, and Christina (Matthew); grandchildren: Steven, Scott, Naomi, Timothy, Evangeline, Gabriel, Lucia, William and one on the way; brother, Ralph (Karen) Anderson; brother-in-law, Carl (Dina) Preslar and James (Margaret) Preslar, as well as numerous relatives and friends. She will also be dearly missed by her friends at Parkway Assembly of God where she served as piano player for many years.

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 29 years, Allen; and her parents: Einar and Jean Anderson (Olsson).

Carol is best known for her kindness, gentleness, and commitment to service, whether in music ministry, helping a friend or family member in need, or in her loving care of her patients as a nurse’s aid. She was always eager to share a smile or laugh, and lived a life rooted deeply in her faith in God.

A Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on Tuesday, 5/31/22 at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Ave, Norwalk, CT 06851.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, 6/1/22 at Parkway Assembly of God, 260 New Canaan Ave, Norwalk, CT 06850.
