On Tuesday, September 14, 2021, Brandt Rousseau Scipion, loving husband, father of five, and friend to many; passed away at the age of 56. Brandt was born on August 13, 1965 in Petit-goâve, Haiti to Levoyant Scipion and Melissa Pyrame Scipion. Brandt worked his way into plumbing in the late 90s. He would eventually become a master plumber and start his own plumbing business in 2005. On May 8, 1993 he married Marie Claude Angus. They raised five sons together, David, Brendon, John, Abraham, and Emmanuel. Brandt was very passionate about his faith, his plumbing work and people. He loved to sing and dance; and though he wasn’t very good at it, he loved to play the saxophone. His hands are involved in so many projects and completed works all over Connecticut; both big and small, commercial and residential. Among other things, he will be remembered for his unrelenting optimism, outgoing personality, galvanizing and infectious smile, kind and compassionate heart, and his unique ability to make anyone feel like family. Brandt was preceded in death by his father, Levoyant, and his mother, Melissa. He is survived by his wife Marie, his five children; David, his wife Michelle and their son Miles; also sons Brendon, John, Abraham, and Emmanuel, his three brothers Arence, Renauld, and Gerard, his three sisters Ymma, Richarne, and Venante, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Services will be held at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk, CT. The viewing will be held on Friday, September 24th from 4-8PM. The funeral will be held at 9AM on Saturday, September 25th. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, 81 Riverside Avenue, Norwalk, CT. MASKS REQUIRED.
