Laurel (Laurie) Trani, of Conway, passed away Saturday, June 19th at MUSC after a short battle with Leukemia. Laurie was born on August 11, 1957 in Norwalk, CT, the Daughter of the late George and Shirley Vredenburgh. She graduated from Norwalk High School, and she received a BA in Psychology from Western CT State University. She married the love of her life Claude (Bud) Trani in 1978 and they lived many years in Danbury CT, before moving to Conway in 1996. She worked at Time Warner Cable for 15 years, and most recently at Surfside Realty . Besides her husband of 42 years, Laurie is survived by her sisters Melinda (Mindy) Bottone and Sharon Lyons, both of CT , and a brother George Vredenburgh of Ohio, plus many nieces and nephews she loved very much.
