Gertrude H. Bouknight, age 88, passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Norwalk Hospital.
Gertrude was born at Norwalk Hospital on June 11, 1932 to the late William and Gertrude Hargrave.
She attended Norwalk Public Schools.
She retired from Southern New England Telephone Company after 40 years of service.
She loved reading, going on trips, television, her cats, and spending time with her family.
She was predeceased by brothers: Charles and Ernest Hargrave, nephew, Darrell Hargrave and great niece, Shalonda Smith.
Survivors include sisters-in-law: Mildred Hargrave and Barbara Medley. Nieces and nephews: Kenneth (James) Hargrave, Rebecca (Arnold) Tinch, Viola Hargrave, and Annette Hargrave. Great nieces and nephews: Tanisha (Anthony) Tyson, Kimyatta (Darrell) Harris, and Nicole Hargrave. Goddaughter, April Baskin.
