Jeanne Salvatore (Moretti) Savastano, 87, lifelong resident of Norwalk and wife of the late Vincent Moretti and James V. Savastano, died on Monday, April 5, 2021 at her home. Born in Norwalk, the daughter of Michael G. and Vivian (Wagner) Salvatore, she was a graduate of Norwalk High School, Class of 1952. She worked as a telephone operator for SNET, a medical assistant to Dr. Daniel Richman for 23 years, before joining Norwalk Savings Society for the next 22 years, and finally retired from Kew Photo Labs.
Jeanne was a member of the NHS Reunion Committee, Norwalk Historical Society and Friends of Norwalk Museum. Jeanne enjoyed music and dancing, drawing, knitting and flower gardening; hybrid Iris were her favorite.
She is survived by her son Gene Moretti and his wife Kathleen, and grandson Brandon Moretti, as well as aunts, cousins and Godchildren.
Services, officiated by Rev. John Cardamone, will be held privately at Riverside Cemetery, Norwalk
