Michael J. Gray, Sr., age 75 of Scottsdale, AZ and longtime Norwalk resident, died peacefully in Phoenix, AZ on February 22, 2021 surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of Lorice (Craw) Gray. Michael was born in Ft. Walton, FL on September 3, 1945, the son of the late William S. and Wanda (Mierzejewska) Gray. He graduated from Thomas A. Edison High School Jamaica, NY in 1963. Michael served his country in the U.S. Army. He was retired from SNET in Norwalk, CT and the Cave Creek Unified School District in Arizona. He enjoyed working on his cars, yard and spending time with family and friends. After retiring, Michael enjoyed traveling, taking scenic rides and attending art auctions with his wife. In addition to his wife, Michael is survived by his children Michael J. Gray, Jr. of Scottsdale, AZ and his daughter Danielle Gray Bieling and husband Donald of Fairfield, CT; grandchildren Ezra Gray and Logan Bieling, step-granddaughter Emma Bieling; his brother William Gray and wife Patricia of Plano, TX; sister Claudia Rose and husband Russell of Hampton Bays, NY and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Due to pandemic restrictions, church services and burial will be private. Michael’s family will receive friends at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk on Thursday, March 18, from 4-6 PM.
