Obituary of Kathleen Margaret Dwyer
Please share a memory of Kathleen to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Kathleen Margaret Dwyer, age 49, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2020 at her home in Stamford, CT. Born in Englewood, NJ on September 2, 1970, she was the daughter of Margaret (Exner) Dwyer of Wilton, CT and the late Joseph A. Dwyer. A graduate of Marymount College in 1992, Kathleen later obtained her Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Connecticut. Most recently she has been employed by Northwest Mutual as a financial representative.
Kathy's greatest enjoyment was found in giving to and taking care of family and friends. She loved her family history and would always have a story to tell of family traditions and family heirlooms. She had an avid interest in the Revolutionary War and collected stories and items from the era.
In addition to her mother, Margaret, other survivors include her partner, Denis Talenti of Stamford, CT, her three brothers, Patrick Dwyer and his wife Althea of Montgomery, TX, Joseph Dwyer and his partner Lori of Hobe Sound, FL, and Michael Dwyer and his wife Courtney of Shelton, CT. She was a beloved aunt to nephew, Blake Dwyer and his fiancée Audrey, currently in Mystic, CT, her nephew William Dwyer and niece Avery Dwyer, both of Shelton, CT, and of course, mom to her cherished husky, Callie. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Due to the concerns at this time surrounding social gatherings, all funeral services and interment will be held privately for the immediate family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to A Pathway to Hope, http://www.apathwaytohope.org, where Kathy adopted Callie. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, Trumbull.
