Obituary of Jeanette Cooley Buchholz

Jeanette (Cooley) Buchholz, 88, of Norwalk, died on April 20, 2020 at Autumn Lake Healthcare in Norwalk. Born in Norwalk, the daughter of the late John and Grace (Muttart) Cooley, she was the devoted wife of the late Otto Buchholz. She attended Norwalk schools, and worked at Hyperion Press as a publishing manager for 20 years. She is survived by her son John O. Buchholz of Iowa, and daughter Jeanine L. Howard of Norwalk, as well as six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with her family particularly at sporting events of her grandchildren. She had a passion for classic movies and enjoyed traveling. She was a very active lifetime member of East Avenue United Methodist Church. A Private burial will take place at Riverside cemetery, with a future memorial service being planned for the earliest opportunity.
