Robert Clinton Ermark Obituary

Robert Clinton Ermark, Jr., 78 husband of Maureen Kehoe Ermark, died peacefully on Saturday, August 2, after a courageous battle with cancer.


He was born in Norwalk on January 1, 1947, to the late Robert, Sr. and Nora (Norman) Ermark.


Robert was born and raised in Norwalk attending local schools. He went on to serve as a Corporal in the Marines. A Welder by trade Bob ran Bob’s Equipment service family run business of 73 years. Outside of work Robert was an active member of many organizations. He was a member of the Stratford Midget Racing Association, Norwalk Karting Association, World Karting Association, Westport Screwball Club, and the South Norwalk Boat Club.


While raising is family you could find him on the race tracks on the East Coast. Robert enjoyed spending time with his wife, family, and friends out on the Sound.


In addition to his wife Maureen, Bob is survived by his children, Robert E. Ermark and his wife Shannon, of Norwalk and Marcella Lozyniak and her husband Stephen of Westport, grandchildren, Dylan Robert Ermark, Lindsey A. Lozyniak, Stephen George Lozyniak, and Shane Robert Lozyniak. He is also survived by his close friend, loyal employee, and Right Hand Man Jose Garcia.


Robert’s family would like to thank Dr. Frank and his team at Whittingham Cancer Center at Norwalk Hospital and the ICU nurses and doctors for their exceptional care.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday August 7, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Riverside Cemetery, 81 Riverside Avenue, Norwalk.
