Adam Anthony Bandini, 100, of Norwalk passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving daughter Rosemary and son-in-law Mike at Norwalk Hospital.

Mr. Bandini was predeceased by his loving and cherished wife of 78 years Gloria. He was also predeceased by his loving daughter Linda, granddaughter Wendy Lynn Montlick, parents Alfred and Louisa Bandini of New Canaan, and by his brothers Gene and Robert Bandini.

Mr. Bandini is survived by his loving and devoted daughter Rosemary (Mike) Montlick of Snellville, GA, son Richard of Norwalk, four grandchildren; William & (Stacey) Hofmann of Naugatuck, Chris Hofmann of Oxford, Andrea (Tony) Baumann of VA, and David (Kayla) Montlick of Loganville, GA, five great-grandchildren; Cadence and Colton Hofmann, Abigail (Abby) and Alexis Baumann and Alexandria (Alex) Montlick, and niece Kay (Ben) of Alabama and nephew Rob (Stacey) of Alabama, sister-in-law Jo Bandini of Alabama, and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Bandini was born in Norwalk on August 19, 1924. He served as Master Sargent in WW 2 in Hawaii, Philippines, and New Guinea. He was by trade a master mason and bricklayer. He enjoyed playing golf, pinochle and going to Las Vegas with his wife.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, June 10, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, June 11, at 10:00 AM. Burial with military honors will follow at Riverside Cemetery, 81 Riverside Avenue, Norwalk.
