It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved Susan J. Marasco.

Susan “Suki” Jane Marasco, age 46, passed away on May 7, 2025 at Bridgeport Hospital.

Susan was born in Norwalk on April 5, 1979 to Leslie and Richard Marasco of Norwalk, CT. Susan attended Norwalk schools and graduated from Trinity Catholic High School in Stamford and went on to graduate from NCC, UCONN and Lincoln Tech with a nursing degree.

Susan devoted much of her life to helping others, both in her personal life and through her longtime work in healthcare. Susan was a professional nurse with a history of working at Norwalk hospital and skilled nursing and home healthcare settings. She was known for her calm presence and was a caring, giving person to everyone that came into her life.

Beyond her professional life, Susan was a deeply creative person who had a passion for art in graphic design before entering into her career in the medical field. Her work wasn’t just a job, it was an extension of who she was, giving her best and making people feel supported.

She will be very much missed. Susan was a beloved mother, girlfriend, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend. She is survived by her son Raymond “RJ” Selvyn, granddaughter Kaelyn Selvyn, parents Richard and Leslie Marasco, brother James Marasco, wife Erica Marasco, nieces Nicole and Emily Marasco and longtime partner Larry Allen Moore all of Norwalk.

Friends may call Friday, May 16, from 4:00 to 8:00pm at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 17, at 10am at Collins Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, 81 Riverside Avenue. Norwalk, CT.
