Marie Princieuse Francois, beloved wife of the late Louisne Francois, passed away on February 19, 2025, in Las Vegas, NV. She was born in Trouin, Haiti on May 9, 1941, to the late Doraus and Losanie (Fede) Louis.

Marie lived in Norwalk CT nearly all her adult life after emigrating from Haiti to the United States and worked as a nurse’s aide at Fairfield Manor until her retirement. She successfully put all her 5 children through various colleges and universities. She was also a devout Christian who regularly attended church services.

Marie leaves behind her three sons: Joseph (Sarah), Howard (Lesa) and Richard Francois as well as her two daughters: Sheila and Carine Francois. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Genevieve, Gabrielle, Justin and Alexandra Francois.

A visitation will be held on Friday February 28, 2025 from 6 to 8 pm at Magner Funeral Home 12 Mott Ave. Norwalk, CT. A funeral service will be held on Saturday March 1, 2025, at 10 am at the French Speaking Baptist Church of Norwalk, 43 Day Street Norwalk, CT, followed by a burial at Riverside Cemetery, 81 Riverside Ave. Norwalk, CT.
