Themis Lialios, 95, of Norwalk passed away Monday, February 3, 2025 at home after a long battle with dementia. Born in Stavrodromi, Greece on July 15, 1929, she was the daughter of Konstantinos & Martha Zinovis. Themis married John in 1953 and immigrated to the United States with her family in 1956 settling in Norwalk. She was a stay-at-home mom making a beautiful loving home for family. As the years grew on after the passing of her husband, dementia started to take hold of Themis. She fought it as valiantly as she could until it finally took her. Still, until the end she gave everyone one that would visit a smile that would warm their heart. She is survived by her sons, Tom and his wife Nancy, Minas and his wife Barbara, step grandchildren and step great grandchildren as well as lots of nieces, nephews and cousins spanning both sides of the Atlantic. She is predeceased by her husband John who passed away in 2012 after 59 years of marriage. She is also predeceased by her brother Lazurus. Friends may call Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk. Services will be on Friday at 10am at St. George Orthodox Church, 238 West Rocks Road, Norwalk. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, 81 Riverside Avenue, Norwalk, CT. The family wishes to thank Connecticut Hospice, Dr. Arthur Heliotis, Zoe & Dino Koutroubis, and the many people that entered our lives to help bring comfort when Themis needed it the most.
