Mary Koch Obituary

Mary T. Koch, 83, of Norwalk died on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at Norwalk Hospital. Born in Norwalk, the daughter of Julius and Mary (Boski) Trinkely, she was the wife of the late Julius Koch. She was also predeceased by her brother Julius "Butch" Trinkely and sister Helen Lawrence.


Mary worked as a switchboard operator for SNET for over 30 years. She is survived by her son Robert J. Koch and his wife Rosemarie Vento-Koch of Norwalk, grandson Robert Patrick Koch, and sisters-in-law Jutka of Hungary, and Sue Trinkely, as well as several nieces and nephews.


Her family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 26, from 4-7 PM at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Avenue, Norwalk.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday at St. Ladislaus Church, 25 Cliff St, Norwalk, with burial to follow at Riverside Cemetery.
